SNAP Executive Board:

Zachary CertnerPresident, Co-founder

Zachary Certner graduated Duke University in 2018 with a B.A. in Computer Science and a minor in Economics. Appointed President in 2009, Zach has expanded the organization's educational campaign, launching the 2010 New Jersey Disability Trainings and student ambassador programs, as well as developed the organizations e-learning curriculum. Zachary is also a member of the National Youth Leadership Advisory Council for NYLC.

Matthew Certner: Co-founder, COO

Matthew Certner is a Managing Consultant at IBM Global Business Services. He graduated from Duke University in 2013 with a B.A. in International Studies, Certificate in Markets and Management Studies (MMS), and Minor in Chinese. In addition to co-founding SNAP, he is also the founder of SCSN NJ Disability Clinics and has headed SNAP’s international campaign since 2009. 

Kylee Strasser: Student President, SNAP Ambassador

Kylee has been involved with SNAP since 2013 and is the current student ambassador President and Sports Clinic Director. Kylee is responsible for the weekly organization of programs and is the founder of Peace for Parents. 

Dr. Alexandra Moosen: Board Director

Dr. Moosen is a general dental practitioner; graduated from Maryland University and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDMJ). Dr. Moosen has served as a board director for SNAP, Inc. since 2009, and currently is serving as Chief Executive Officer of SCSN NJ Disability Clinics for children with special needs.

Benjamin D. Rhodes: Board Member, SNAP Athletic Director

Ben completed his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Montclair State University in 2013. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis at Caldwell University. Ben completed the Applied Practicum course at the Center for Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis at Caldwell University in the fall of 2014, and will continue to earn practicum credits in the summer of 2015. Ben is specializing in teaching older learners with autism, daily living skills instruction, vocational skills instruction, and the reduction of problematic behavior in children and adults with disabilities. He has served on SNAP's board since 2010 and has run SNAP's athletic programs for the past 5 years. 

Daniel Certner: Board Member, CIO

Daniel Certner is the Director of Engineering at Namely. He graduated from Duke University in 2010 with a B.A. in Spanish and Certificate in Markets and Management Studies (MMS). He is a software engineer, manager, and leader with over 7+ years experience. 

Suzanne Kersten: Board Member, SNAP Art Director

Sue is a graduate of Syracuse University with a BFA in graphic design and photography. She has over 20 years experience in both industries. She has been teaching our SNAP art class for the last 2 years with the help of our talented and devoted mentors. She is also a mother of 3, two of whom have special needs. She has been on our board of directors for the past 4 years.

Dr. Paul Abend: Board Member

Dr Abend, a Physiatrist, owns Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine, a private medical practice in NJ. Dr. Abend has been a board director for SNAP, Inc. since 2009. He is also the co-founder of Autism Escapes and is a co-founder of Mt Bethel Village, an assisted living residence for adults with autism. He has created after school programs for children with special needs and has developed an autism medical training program for Family Practice residents at UMDNJ- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Bruce Certner: Board Member

Dr. Certner, general dental practitioner, owns a private practice in Denville, New Jersey. Dr. Certner graduated from George Washington University and Farleigh Dickenson Dental School. He has served as a board director of SNAP since 2010.
