Kohl's of Morris Plains employees wow the SNAP kids!
The Kohl’s Store in Morris Plains New Jersey has found a way to be like the local merchants of the early 20th century and in many small towns in America today- they get involved with the community, through service projects in the area.
Two different groups from Kohl’s have volunteered at our music program and at the Sports clinic over the last few weeks. And when I say they got involved I mean they were singing and dancing with the music group. And while they are not ready to start for the Knicks they dribbled and shot baskets with our kids.
It was impressive how comfortable they were working with our kids.
I think they learned much more about our kids and how they are like most kids it is just that their brains work a little differently.
They wowed us with how engaged they were with our kids.
SNAP wished to thank the Kohl's employees for their time and participation with our programs.
More importantly the parents of our kids are gratefully for their time and involvement.
I tried to sell them on coming back every week to be the mentors but didn’t need to- all said that if they could arrange their schedules they would be back!
What wonderful representatives they are of the Kohl's workforce!
